The method used to rank the ten most educated countries in the world included a review of the 10 countries with the highest proportions of residents, aged 25 to 75, with a tertiary education in 2012. According to yahoo news, the data was part of the OECD’s 2014 Education at a Glance report. Of the countries considered for the top 10 were 34 OECD member countries as well as ten non-OECD nations.
